Dean's Office


The dean’s office, also called the Office of Academic Affairs, is responsible for the administration of the academic programs of the college. The services, programs and activities provided under Academic Affairs are intended to help meet the academic needs of students and to enhance the total learning experience at Concordia. Several departments and programs are included in Academic Affairs including faculty development and assessment, academic computing, curriculum review, digital media services and all academic departments.

Mark Krejci  Meet the Dean
Dr. Mark J. Krejci, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College, came to Concordia in 1987 as a professor of psychology and accepted his current position in 2004.

His master’s and doctorate degrees are from the University of Notre Dame in counseling psychology.

As a member of the psychology department, Krejci served for 15 years as department chair.

His research interests involved the impact of religious schemas on behavior and the influence of client’s religious beliefs on psychotherapy. He also served as editor of the Psychology of Religion Newsletter.
