JOIN THE CROWD AND GET BACK INTO LEARNING
WITH F/M COMMUNIVERSITY

F/M Communiversity invites everyone back to the classroom in September with a great lineup of courses.
Join Rebecca Moore, associate professor of political science at Concordia College, for “Defense and Security,” and learn about new U.S. military policies, methods and priorities for defending the United States or explore “The Wonderful Country of Iran” with native Reza Saberi. Gain a deeper understanding of the mind-body connection with “Vinyasa Flow Yoga,” or celebrate the 2000th birthday of St. Paul with Dr. James Aageson, chair of the Division of Arts and Humanities and religion professor at Concordia, in “St. Paul at 2,000.” Learn about this influential man and his role in the formation of early Christianity. If public speaking makes you want to run in the other direction, learn some basic skills you can apply to real life with Charlene Hudgins, managing artistic director of FMCT through “Acting Skills for Real Life.” Or maybe just spend a relaxing evening with dinner, a glass of wine and great jazz at the Speak Easy Restaurant in Moorhead when Russ Peterson and Friends present “It’s Cool: Jazz, Discussion and Performance.”
For more information about these courses and the rest of the fall courses starting in September, a full brochure can be accessed online at www.fmcommuniversity.org or call the F/M Communiversity office at (218) 299-3438.
Courses beginning in September are offered at Concordia College, North Dakota State University, Riverview Place, FMCT and the Speak Easy.
