CONCORDIA FACULTY RECITAL FEATURES WORLD PREMIERE

    Concordia College will present a faculty recital with tenor David Hamilton, associate professor of music at Concordia, accompanied on piano by Jay Hershberger, also associate professor of music at Concordia. The recital is at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 12 in Christiansen Recital Hall on the Moorhead, Minn., campus and is free and open to the public.
    The recital will feature the world premiere of “To Think of Time” by René Clausen, conductor of The Concordia Choir with texts by Walt Whitman and “The Andrée Expedition” by Dominick Argento.
    Concordia College is a four-year liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America offering 78 majors, including 18 honors majors, and 12 preprofessional programs.
