CONCORDIA ART EXHIBITION FEATURES
PRINTS FROM MINOT STATE UNIVERSITY

The Cyrus M. Running Gallery at Concordia College will feature an art exhibition titled “Americas 2000, Before and Beyond: Prints from the Minot State University Permanent Collection” from Monday, Sept. 29 to Friday, Oct. 31.
A reception to celebrate the opening of the exhibit will take place in the Cyrus M. Running Gallery 4-8 p.m., Thursday Oct. 2 and is open to the public.
The prints in the exhibit were acquired over a period of 37 years from entries in the university’s two annual national juried competitions. The emphasis in these competitions has always been on cutting-edge contemporary art produced within two years of each competition entry date.
The exhibit occurs in conjunction with the 2008 Mid America Print Council Conference in Fargo-Moorhead, Oct. 1-5.
